Brian’s piece, America the Beautiful, is a patriotic celebration of diversity.
Using the American flag as a platform, lyrics from the song America the Beautiful appear in the white bars of the flag.
Within each of the 50 stars are pictures reflecting the diverse nature of American life: from its people to its monuments.
Not the best picture. Unfortunately, the art layout and dozens of pictures used to make the piece were lost in a computer hard drive failure. A significant amount of time was needed to create this artwork so the one created for the show was the only one to be printed.
